Custom Jacket Return & Replacement Policy

(Effective January 2025)

At Varsity Base, every jacket is made just for you. Each piece is cut, stitched, and personalized to your specifications — making it truly one of a kind. Because of this level of customization, our return and replacement policy differs from traditional apparel stores.


Custom & Customized Orders

All jackets on varsitybase.com are made-to-order and customized according to your design, size, and personalization details.

For that reason, we cannot accept returns, cancellations, or refunds once production has started — unless the item is defective, damaged, or materially different from what was approved.

Please review your design carefully and contact us within 24 hours of placing your order if you need to make any changes.


Order Review & Approval

Before production begins, we process your design through our system using the details and visuals you confirmed. By completing your purchase, you agree that the digital rendering and customization details represent your final approval. If you wish to make adjustments:

  • Submit requests within 24 hours of purchase.
  • After 24 hours, designs are locked, and production begins.

Replacements for Quality Issues

We stand behind the quality of every Varsity Base jacket. If your jacket arrives with a manufacturing defect or an error in customization, we’ll gladly make it right.

Eligible for Free Replacement:

  • Missing patch, embroidery, or embellishment.
  • Incorrect color, material, or personalization (initials, name, etc.).
  • Wrong size if different from the approved order.
  • Visible quality defect (stitching issue, stains, tears, etc.).
  • Item damaged in transit (must include photo of damaged packaging).

We’ll either: replace the jacket at no cost, or offer a partial or full refund if replacement isn’t possible.


How to Submit a Claim

To request a replacement or report an issue: email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery. Include:

  • Your order number.
  • A brief description of the issue.
  • Clear photos of the problem area and the full jacket.
  • (If applicable) a photo of the packaging label and box.

Shipping & Returns

In most cases, we don’t require you to ship the jacket back — but if we do, Varsity Base will provide return information. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or refunded.


Sizing & Fit

Because every jacket is custom-made, sizing errors due to personal measurement or fit preference are not eligible for refund or exchange. However, we understand that mistakes happen. If you ordered the wrong size, we offer a discounted remake at 50% of the original cost, plus shipping.

Tip: Please review our size chart carefully before ordering. If unsure, our design team can assist before purchase.


Delivery Deadlines

We do our best to meet every delivery commitment. If you’ve paid for Rush Delivery and we fail to meet the guaranteed delivery date due to a production delay on our side, we’ll refund the rush fee in full or offer a discount on your next order.


Non-Returnable Items

For clarity, the following are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:

  • Jackets with correct design and specifications.
  • Wrong size ordered by customer.
  • Normal wear and tear or damage after delivery.
  • Minor color variation due to display differences.
  • Orders past the 7-day claim window.
